The customer had seen the flooring we had fitted for his brother and asked us to quote fus r his new house, he wanted 2 bedrooms, landing and stairs fitting in Wooden Flooring, the customer had a sample however it was solid oak and not suitable for his sub floors, we supplied a suitable engineered version and floated it over a very good quality underlay and glued the treads and risers with a special adhesive, we removed and reinstalled the skirting boards for a better finish eased the doors to clear the new floor height and fitted new oak nosings to the treads and risers on the stairs.

This customer was looking to update a tired oak floor and install some underfloor heating in certain areas, they had some level issues and also a very complicated curved step down into a rear sun room, we supplied Elka 14mm Lacquered engineered oak flooring and installed an electric under wood heating mat, we raised the subfloor level with different grades of plywood and biscuit jointed the new floor into the existing step whilst resending the step to tie in with the new floor, we also installed new solid oak skirting to the entire area.

This customer had purchased a large new build house but had declined the quote from the builder to install the flooring as they thought they were ‘far too expensive’, they wanted a mix of Laminate Flooring, Carpet and Luxury Vinyl Tile. We supplied Quick-Step majestic which is a very large format board to the ground floor, we supplied plush Carpet to the upper floors and installed LVT to the bathrooms and ensuites. Skirting was removed and reinstalled as was the Kitchen plinths and panels. In the end we managed to come in at half the builders original quote which made for a very happy customer.
